Transit Visa

A passenger intending to transit through India may apply for a transit visa for the sole purpose of enabling him/her to travel through India to a destination outside India.

Validity: 15 Days for Seaman joining the vessel

Documents Required:

  1. Seaman joining the vessel
    1. 2 passport size photos (Sizes 2x2 inches)
    2. Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the contemplated stay in India with photocopy.
    3. Seaman's Book.
    4. Contract of Employment.
    5. Sponsorship Letter from India.
    6. Guarantee Letter from company in the Philippines.
    7. Airline Print Out with Ticket Numbers.
  2. Others (except Seafarers)
    1. 2 passport size photos.
    2. Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the contemplated stay in India with photocopy.
    3. Confirmed onward journey.
