The Embassy would consider refund of Visa fee to the applicants in cases where excess or multiple visa fee payments were made over and above the prescribed visa fee for all regular paper visas granted by the Embassy.
No refund request or correspondence will be entertained in case of visa refusal or denial.
The affected applicant should submit a refund claim to the Consular Wing of the Embassy, providing details of the visa and the excess amount paid. The refund claim must be submitted on plain paper with the applicant's signature. Notarization of the application is not required.
The Embassy will try to settle refund claims within 07 working days after receiving the refund request.
No refund claim will be entertained after 3 months from the date of payment.
This policy is not applicable to e-Visa applications.
