Business Conference on Enhancing India-Philippines Bilateral Engineering Trade

The Embassy of India, Manila in coordination with the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) is organizing a business conference on “Enhancing India-Philippines Bilateral Engineering Trade” on 26 August 2021 from (17:30 PM- 19:30 PM). The conference will be graced with the presence of H.E. Shambhu S Kumaran, Ambassador of India to the Philippines, H.E. Ramon Bagatsing Jr., Ambassador of Philippines to India; Mr. Edgardo Lacson, Acting President, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Norman K Macapagal, President, EEI International Limited, Mr Joseph Sigelman, Chairman & CEO, Atlantic Gulf & Pacific Company, Mr Sampath Kumar, Divisional Head (ASEAN Business), Bajaj Auto Limited and Mr Vaibhav Srivastava, Country Manager, TVS Philippines.

The conference aims to highlight the immense potential for economic, trade and investment partnerships between Indian and Philippines businesses in engineering and advanced manufacturing; and infrastructure sector. Some of the success stories of Indian and Filipino companies in each others shared journey of prosperity through their business endeavours would be showcased in the conference.

The conference is third in the series of similar bilateral business engagements. Earlier, India-Philippines conference on infrastructure cooperation was jointly organised by the PCCI and CII on 18 February 2021. This was followed by the bilateral conference on opportunities in the construction sector jointly organised by the Embassy with Philippine Overseas Construction Board on 5 August 2021.
