FIPIC III Summit 12-point Action Plan: Delivery of Haemodialysis Machine and associated equipment to the Republic of Palau.

On behalf of the Government and People of India, H.E. Mr. Harsh Kumar Jain, non resident Ambassador of India to the Republic of Palau, handed over a Haemodialysis Machine, and associated equipment including a Reverse Osmosis plant, a carbonate mixer and a transformer to H.E. Mr. Raynold B. Oilouch, Vice President and the Minister of Health and Human Services of the Republic of Palau, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Gustav Aitaro, Minister of State of the Republic of Palau, at a Ceremony at the Palau National Hospital on 17 April 2025.

The gifting of Haemodialysis Machine and associated equipment to Palau is part of the 12-point Action Plan announced by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, at the 3rd Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation Summit (FIPIC-III Summit) held on 22 May 2023 in Papua New Guinea.

The initiative underscores India’s commitment to enhancing development cooperation with the Republic of Palau and the Pacific Region. 

Receiving the Haemodialysis unit, Vice President Oilouch, expressed immense gratitude on behalf of the government and the people of Palau to the people and the government of India for the grant and expressed confidence that the Haemodialysis unit will greatly enhance the dialysis treatment infrastructure at the Palau National Hospital.
