Launch of e-SEWA



To further streamline and facilitate delivery of Consular services, the Embassy will implement e-SEWA service from July 1, 2023. Applicants intending to avail Consular services such as Attestations, Power of Attorney, Birth certificate, legal capacity etc. should enrol themselves and can thereafter file their application as per the following procedure:

  • Applicant to register and login using the website https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices.

  • After successful registration, the applicant can fill up online application form (of the service they require) and upload scanned copies of documents.

  • Embassy will approve the applications which are found correct & are uploaded correctly and an acknowledgment slip will be generated automatically. In case the application is not found in order applicants will notified and would be required to resubmit the same after necessary correction/s.

  • Thereafter requisite fees* to be deposited at the Embassy’s Metrobank account.

  • After payment of fees, applicants may visit the Embassy Consular Section between 10 am to 12 pm along with (i) the fees receipt (ii) system generated acknowledgment slip (iii) the original documents/their photocopies, as needed
