The Embassy of India, Manila celebrated the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) Day 2019 on 28 February 2020 at India House in Manila. Over 100 people attended the function which included Amb. Delia Albert, Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines and Chairperson of Diwata Foundation, Dr. Teresita Atienza, Vice President for Academics, National Defense College of the Philippines, representatives from partner institutions such as TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) of the Philippines, Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines, Philippine Armed Forces, media, ITEC Alumni and many more distinguished guests.
On the occasion, H.E Ambassador Jaideep Mazumdar delivered his welcome remarks followed by the remarks of Ms. Sonia Lipio, Executive Director of TESDA.
During the occasion, 4 ITEC alumni shared their experiences and memories about the training programme as well as their stay in India.
