Ambassador visited the IT-BPO unit of Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) on 29 November, 2017 and was welcomed by Vikram Singh, TCS Head for the Philippines. Ambassador also spoke to TCS employees followed by a Q & A session. Ambassador complimented the Indian IT BPO companies for their contribution to the Philippine economy, especially in terms of generating employment. He also stressed that the nature of India-Philippine IT partnership is complimentary rather than competitive.
