E-TOURIST VISA (eTV)
The eTV scheme will facilitate travel to India for a short stay of 30 days by enabling the prospective visitor to apply for an Indian Visa from his/her home country online without visiting the Indian Mission and also pay the visa fee online. Once approved, the applicant will receive an email authorising him/her to travel to India and he/she can travel with a print out of this authorization. On arrival, the visitor has to present the authorisation to the immigration authorities who would then stamp the entry into the country. This facility is available to Foreigners whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation, sightseeing, short duration medical treatment, casual business visit, casual visit to meet friends or relatives etc. and not valid for any other purpose/ activities. This will allow entry into India within 30 days from the date of approval of ETA and will be valid for 30 days stay in India from the date of arrival in India. The eTV cannot be availed more than twice in a calendar year. The facility will be available at nine International airports in the country namely Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Goa.

Launch of SU-SWAGATAM (Visit India) Mobile App.
A new integrated services Mobile App SU-SWAGATAM has been launched by the Government of India for foreign nationals intending to visit India. The new Mobile App would be available from the visa application stage till the person's exit from the country. The App is available on Google Play Store for Android users and App Store for IOS users. The App primarily aims to make the stay of foreign nationals comfortable in India.
1. Filipino nationals can apply for the Business, Medical and Medical Attendant Visas by filling in the visa applications(e-visa/regular visa) through the app. For regular visas, the applications, along with supporting documents are required to be submitted in the Embassy of India, Manila for issue of visa as per existing practices.
2. The request for Extension of visa, Residential permit, Exit permit from concerned FRRO/FRO can also be made using the app.
3. Filipino Nationals are free to use either of the options i.e the online portal or the mobile app SU-SWAGATAM for submission of visa applications and seeking e FRRO services
4. The App also provides useful information on utility services like details of tourist places, government agencies, transport services, places of entertainment, health services, religious places, lodging, food and shopping etc.
